Spencer Davis, one of the key figures of the 1960s beat scene, has died at the age of 81.
The Welsh guitarist was the driving force behind The Spencer Davis Group, who scored transatlantic hits with Keep On Running and Somebody Help Me.
Brian Locking, who played bass guitar with The Shadows in the sixties, has died.
He had been ill for some time and, after a period in intensive care, he died in a hospice in Wales.
Rock Star Eddie Van Halen has died aged 65, after a long battle with throat cancer
Singer-songwriter, actor and producer Johnny Nash, who wrote and performed the million-selling anthem “I Can See Clearly Now,” has died at 80.
Australian-born singer Helen Reddy, whose hit "I Am Woman" became a feminist anthem in the 1970's, has died in Los Angeles on . She was 78 years old.
